Artem Dmitruk – A People’s Deputy of Ukraine (MP) was tortured in the basement of the Security Service of Ukraine, falsely accused, and, based on a fabricated criminal case, the Ukrainian authorities are trying to secure his extradition to Ukraine. Pending the consideration of his case in the High Court of London, he remains under the protection of the United Kingdom.

In these photographs, he has sustained multiple injuries, including a broken nose in two places, fractured ears, jaw, and skull, as well as dental damage. He was subjected to eye gouging, severe beatings, and torture.

Artem’s wife was expecting their third child, but tragically, they lost the baby. In response, they shouted on the phone that they were idiots and they would be sent to the front. After about 15-20 minutes, they threw me out of the bus and led me to the basement. They threw me on the cold and wet floor.
Somewhere nearby, I heard the screams of my friends.

A little further, the screams and moans of other people. And the terrible sounds of torture.To be honest, for the first time in my life I heard this.

I was lying on a cold concrete floor, face down. They began to wrap me again with tape and tighten my legs and arms with screws. Apparently, the first time was not enough. And as soon as the last screw tightened, they began to beat me with their feet and buttocks. To walk on the body, to run back and forth, to step on hands and feet. To twist your fingers on your hands.

And to shout cheerfully. When else will you jump on a people’s deputy? After that, they took me to the office. In the office, they put me on a chair and interrogated me. They tried to knock out some testimony from me. They called names and names of people I didn’t know. They accused me of treason and working with the Russians.

But I didn’t know or have anything like that. They said a lot of things about me and my family. They beat me terribly. I lost consciousness several times and fell off the chair. I came to my senses and again torture. It seemed endless to me. They called all new people to the office. And all new people, SBU employees, were working on their blows on me. Many went into the office and did not believe that blood was flowing on the chair unconsciously.

For such, they unscrewed the tape on my neck and raised the bag to the level of the nose. The nose at that moment was already broken several times. And the blood was already just pouring out like from a bucket. After the classic beating and torture, they led me as if to be thrown off the roof. They pretended that I was standing on the edge of the roof and would throw me down now. After, as if their plan had changed and they decided to shoot me.

Of course, all this was accompanied by clever stories and fairy tales. When they led me to the execution, they reloaded their weapons and led me from wall to wall. At this time, they had a phone call. And they agreed what to do with me. Since the noise rose and they began to look for me. They were given an order to knock out the evidence they needed in any way.

I was given an order to knock out some information from me that could discredit me to justify my actions. After a long and painful interrogation, having not received what I wanted, I was transferred to another office. And they wanted to make me disabled first, deprive me of genitalia. And then they lit cigarettes and brought them there. At this time, a call came and they were ordered to urgently change the strategy. I was taken to the SBU gym.

Republicans Demand Investigation: Tucker Carlson Interviews American Human Rights Lawyer Robert Amsterdam on Persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

Amsterdam claimed that USAID and the U.S. State Department are funding the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), which was created by former President Petro Poroshenko with the assistance of the CIA. He reminded that this structure, supported by President Zelensky, has been seizing churches from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), assaulting its believers and clergy.

According to Amsterdam, Zelensky is waging an open war against the UOC, and the proposed law banning the Church is comparable to the anti-Semitic measures of the Nazis.

The lawyer emphasized that the torture and persecution of believers are being carried out with American taxpayers’ money.

Speaking about those who defended the Church and faced persecution from Zelensky’s government, Amsterdam mentioned Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk, who was forced to flee Ukraine under threat of assassination. He is now challenging the false accusations against him and will present his case in court, Amsterdam added.

“For those who say this isn’t true, please call Mr. Dmytruk, who is now, thank God, safe in London… He fled the country because Zelensky literally sent people— I don’t want to use the word ‘liquidate,’ but he had to literally run across the border. This is a member of the Rada whose security was taken away by [Zelensky’s chief of staff] Yermak. He had to cross the border to save his life. And his crime? He spoke out against a law aimed at destroying his Church…” the human rights lawyer stated.

Amsterdam also noted that, unlike Republicans, Democrats and Western media are ignoring the persecution of the UOC. He reminded that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has openly defended the Church, while journalists from The Washington Post refused to interview beaten priests.
